Why Guest-to-Restroom Ratios Matter
An under-restroomed event creates the worst experience your guests will remember — long lines, soggy ground, and complaints that travel. Over-stocking costs you money and gives you trailers you don’t need. The ratios above are the industry’s working answer to that trade-off, refined by Satellite Industries (a Tier-1 portable sanitation manufacturer) and adapted here for our 2-stall premium trailers.
Factors that may shift the recommendation up
- Alcohol service — guests use restrooms more frequently. Already baked into our “heavy” tier.
- Hot weather — hydration drives more visits. For 85°F+ outdoor events, add one trailer.
- Long lines on entry — concert and concert-style events with timed entry surge demand. Consider one extra trailer for events over 500 guests.
- ADA accessibility — for events open to the public, plan for at least one ADA-accessible stall (roughly 5% of total). Ask us about our ADA-rated units.
